The Research & Planning group of the Exim Bank is involved in providing wide range of information and analysis on aspects of international economics, trade & invetment, to the constituents within the Bank, as well as to those external to the Bank, such as the Governmetn, RBI, exporters / importers, trade and industry associations, external credit agencies, academic institutions and researchers. The research work carried out in the group.
Exim Bank publishes research studies in the ofrm of Books, Occasional Papers and Working Papers, which could be broadly categorised under region or country specific studies, industry or sector related studies and macro-economic or policy related studies. These studies are aimed to provide intellectual information and analysis to the exporters, industrialists, Export Promotion Councils and researchers, among others. The studies also provide key policy recommendations to the Governmetn.
Exim Bank also comes out with a quarterly publication titled "Eximius: Export Advantage" which covers developments in the global and Indian economy, particularly focusing on recent developments related to trade and investment. The Bi-monthly "Agri Export Advantage", published in English, Hindi and ten regional Indian languages covers strategic issues related to agricultural exports. The Bank has also been publishing the quarterly "India-China Newsletter", in English and Chinese, which cover a range of issues related to the economy as well as trade and investment relations between China and India.
